Indra & Move It
Lead Guitar: "Indra Rajah"
Indra Rajah, born in Sri Lanka, formerly known as Ceylon, started his musical career as the lead guitarist of the Band "THE JETLINERS".
The "JETS", as they are popularly called, were recording artists for EMI under the Columbia label in the mid sixties. (In 1999 the "JETS" reunited for the first time in 30 years for a successful tour of Sidney, Melbourne, Los Angeles and Toronto. In December 2004 they had three sell-out 1500 seat-concerts in Sri Lanka, this after 35 years after their last show there.
Indra first met the THE SHADOWS in 1969 at the EMI studio in Singapore. He left the JETLINERS in December 1969 and came to Europe with his own band Topaz. They performed as supporting acts for Gary Glitter and The Equals. Casey Jones (Don't Ha Ha) sang with Indra and his band on Radio Bremen and other shows. Indra continued to play in the dance music-scene till the early eighties. He stopped playing for about four years and then decided to go back to his roots and play the music of THE SHADOWS with his new band "Park Avenue Connection". Middle of 2004 the name was changed to "Indra and Move iT".
Rhythm Guitar: "Peter Ulbricht"
Peter Ulbricht, Shadows-Fan since the release of "Apache",
founded in 1965 his first band " The Modern Sounds" in Kiel ( North Germany ), playing leadguitar - mainly tunes by The Shadows, Walker Brothers and Jay and the Americans.
Had gigs in Star-Palast , Kieler Ostseehalle, TV NDR,and
played guitar from 1969 - 72 in the Military Orchestra " Band 101" playing Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington,
1970 / 71 leadguitar in the "Tommy Miller Band" ( Rock and Shadows Tunes),
1972 stopped playing music to study Graphics and Illustrations. 2002: After 30 years started playing again when he met INDRA, who was looking for a Rhythm-Guitarist for his band "Indra and the Park Avenue Connection" now known as Indra & "Move iT".
Peter lives in Flensburg (North Germany) and also plays in the "John Marshall Trio" (Pop, Folk, Blues and naturally Shadows) with John David Marshall - a sixties singer from Birmingham (GB.)
Bass Guitar: "Stefan Gut"
Stefan Gut, started playing bass guitar just a few months before meeting Indra . "Indra and The Park Avenue Connection" was his first band. He is very dedicated to music and loves the music of THE SHADOWS.
Drums: "Cyril Kuhn"
Cyril Kuhn, turning 21 in the year 2005, came 3rd a few years ago in the "All Switzerland Drum-contest" for under 25 years old. Shows a lot of talent and Indra & "Move iT" is his first band.
Indra & his band played many times in Holland, Germany and Switzerland and had in 2004 two concerts in Toronto (one of them at the Toronto SHADOWS-club.)
Easter 2005 Indra &"Move iT" will play at the Pipeline Convention in London and a week later at the Cliff & THE SHADOWS Meeting in Tilburg, Holland.
Still under the name of Park Avenue Connection the boys have performed as supporting-acts for bands such as Barclay James Harvest, Buddy Holly's Crickets and Bill Haley's Original Comets.
